I heard via the grapevine...lol...that my girl Spice went BOS to Frankie...today so that is two dogs either owned by us or were owned by us, took BOV and BOS! woohoo.
Spice, Fandango N Lamars Hot Sensation, should be up to 10 pts now with both majors (unless she won yesterday...have not talked to my handler). Yea...she has 8 more shows coming up so she should finish soon we hope.
On Thursday, tho, had one of those days I hate...two reserves! Gilly who needs a lousy single to finish...wins his nice class of 4 and gets beat by the puppy for the points. Then Katie, my l/c girl, the same thing...showed and moved like a dream...wins her class of 4 and then gets beat by the puppy. I understand puppies are cute...but you know...I see this becoming more and more a trend...puppies going up in these toy breeds...when in reality they could fall apart and go over standard, bite could go off ...heck any number of things.
Don't get me wrong, I have had puppies finish from puppy class too...but it is starting to bother me where it is becoming more the norm...soon the Open class will be a useless class in the Toys. Those open classes you know the dogs stayed in standard and are what they are gonna be.
Enough of Gayle's soapbox for the day...lol
