Jasper and Cassie Available

Cassie was born late Dec 2010 and is only about 4 pounds. She is a beautiful little girl but unfortunately her bite is off and can't be shown. So she is available as a pet. The black/white boy was born in May. He was a singleton baby and even tho Ch sire and Ch dam and having a full brother who was ranked for two years in the Top Ten Chihuahuas...I am thinking he'll be over 6 pounds. So he is also available. He, especially, would make a good agility prospect I think. Altho...at this age hard to evaluate how fast he'll be. She is very small and agile. She only weighs 4 pounds.

Photos of Two Latest Champions

Introducing Ch. Lamars The Closer (Lucy) on the left and Ch. TJS N Lamars True Grit (Kale) on the right. They finished their Ch. on the same day. Thank you to Joyce Standish for handling Lucy to her final two points and of course, as always, daughter Lisa did a fantastic job with Kale.

Summer Update

I must apologize for ignoring my blog posts. I put information on Facebook and then it slips my mind to do an update here.

It is now Sept. 5 and the river is still flooding. The flow has been reduced now to 90,000 cfs compared to the huge flood stage of 160,000 that it remained at all summer up to now.

So eventually the river will go down to below flood stage and the flood waters can hopefully start flowing back to the main channel. meanwhile, we are all still flooded out and probably will be all winter because cold and snow aren't far away.

Kale has been competing for his Grand Ch. and has all 3 of his majors and all 3 of his Champions defeated requirements done. He is now at 12 points I believe. So half way there. He is just 10 1/2 months old.

I am still living at my sisters' house so my showing and breeding have kind of almost halted. Thankfully Lisa is still getting some of the dogs to shows in Calif. But we are still limited on that front also, because she lives in an apt. and can't have more than 3 dogs there.!

Still house hunting but not having much luck. It takes lots of time to find what you want that will work for the dogs and us.
