I want to wish all my good friends out there a Happy 4th of July. We are going to cook a turkey since we have had one from Thanksgiving that we need to use...lol. Normally it is barbecue time but we have been trying to get this bird cooked for a few months and decided tomorrow it is!
We spent the day today going all over trying to find a high enough vantage point to look at the house to see if we have flooding and how much. The view we have of the valley shows it is completely flooded. So I guess it is a question of how bad. Unfortunately too many trees to see our house...no matter where we went to look trees blocked it.
At the dog shows this weekend we didn't have any luck with Murray and Kale. Guess the judging kind of sucked.
It has been kind of sad around here this weekend cause we sent Lady back to her breeder. Pups weren't quite wanting to be weaned and she wasn't wanting to wean them but her breeder was wanting her back so we sent her with our friend Karen Terry to Land of Lincoln show.. They are 10 weeks so were old enough but I like my bitches to wean the pups on their own.
