Gage Group 1 Photo Joplin MO

Gage (Ch. Lamars Dream Big) is pictured here with his Group 1 and Group 4 wins in Joplin MO with handler Perry Payson. Gage finished his Ch. last Spring (2009) and specialed for a while getting to #11 smooth coat. He then went home to grow up ... now he's BACK compaigning for his Grand Ch...which he is almost there ... if not there already.
I want to thank his wonderful owner Shawn Jones for always keeping me updated and sharing photos and willingly lets me post them. Gage is Frankie and Sugar's first Champion. Keep it up Gage. Good luck at Eukanuba.

Chuckie Receives Invitation to Westminister

Chuckie's owner, Karen Terry, called me and asked if I'd post that he received his invitation to Westminister Kennel Club in February. She worked so very hard to get him qualified for this prestigious invitation. It is not easy for an owner handler to come up with the time and money involved to campaign a dog hard enough to get ranked in the Top 5 of their breed. It is a very costly endeavor. Congratulations to Karen and Chuckie...and to breeder Debbie Chambers.

River's New Ch. Photo

I almost didn't keep this photo of River because it isn't him at all. He is squinting and he just wasn't set right...altho that is how the photographer directed me to set him. But there is no opportunity to get a retake of his new Ch. photo so I kept it. We are very proud of River in his relatively quick finish. Now on to his Grand Ch. quest.

Win Photo of Chief

Chief (Lamars Dreamy N Debonair) is pictured here winning his first 3 pt major under Judge Jean Fournier. He didn't do too shabby for his first shows and we are real proud of him.

River and Razzle Garner More Grand Ch. Points

Razzle is closing in on her Grand Ch. title...she grabbed 2 more points today. 3 to go and she'll have it! Praying for more tomorrow.

River is just starting his quest and he got 2 points today also...giving him 3 total in just his second weekend out as a Special. River has new owners so they will be anxiously watching his quest for his title.

Gage is out with Perry Payson and is marching quickly to his Grand Ch title also. But we don't know how many he has tallied up so far...we are waiting for AKC updates.

I tell you...it is nice for these wins...but when you have a day like today where the judge is so old she shouldn't be judging and putting up things she shouldn't be putting up in every breed she judged...it makes you wonder why you spend your money. Of course, it isn't the same judge that Razzle had or Gage. Thank Goodness!

River's 1st Major Photo

Here is River taking his first major Oct 23 at Council Bluffs KC in Lincoln, NE. The following weekend he won two more majors to finish his Championship. Thank you to Tammy Caswell for sending River to me. He was owner handled completely.

Gage Is On Fire...Group 1 Today

Gage (Am. Can. Ch. Lamars Dream Big-S) came back on fire after his lay off to mature and relax after a grueling show campaign last year as a young boy. He has been to a few shows this year but mostly just being a dog on his farm in Montana...well not 'his' farm...but you know what I mean! lol

Yesterday Group 4 and today Group 1...how can it be any better? Congratulations...Shawn and her family and me too...are elated.

Gage Wins Group 4 in Joplin MO Nov 6

Ch. Lamars Dream Big-S came out of semi retirement to compete for his Grand Ch. and get ready for Eukanuba. Well, he did it in a big way going Group 4 Saturday. His sire and dam are here at Lamars. Frankie has produced a limited number of puppies and has Gage and Penny out there winning big and a Russian Ch as well. Penny is ranked #2 smooth coat in Canada and last year Gage was #11 smooth coat in US.

Congratulations Shawn and Gage.

Razzle didn't get her other select yesterday ...dad gum it!

Razzle Grabs Another Select

Razzle won Select Bitch today at the Heart of New England Chihuahua Club Specialty under Judge Max Hurd. Thank you Cathleen for your wonderful presentation of her. Closing in on the Grand...not sure how many points this show was but she was at 15 so imagine it adds another 3 or 4 points.

Praying for another this afternoon at the Hudson Valley Chi Club.

Sioux Falls, SD Show Results

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. We sure did...altho not Trick or Treating...lol

We went to Sioux Falls hoping to come home with two new Champions. Almost achieved the goal...got one out of the two so better than nothing...lol

River needed a single to finish and came away with a 3 pt major going Best of Winners. Thanks to Judge Raymond Bay. Then Sunday he won his first point towards his Grand Championship.

Friday and Sunday our new little showman, Chief (Lamars Dreamy N Debonair-S) in his show debut weekend won 3 pt majors both days and at the tender age of 6 m0 10 days he has both the majors out of the way. I really hadn't put any work in with him as had been concentrating on Lucy and River to finish...but Chief decided this was a 'fun' time and showed like a pro. Thanks to judges J. Fournier and D. Cozart.

Chuckie (Grand Ch Ka-Lynn's N Belles I'm Your Superman) won a Group 3 on Saturday. His owner Karen Terry (my traveling companion for the weekend and good friend) was thrilled and needless to say so was I since I kind of promoted the breeding of his parents. Congrats Karen Terry and breeder Debbie Chambers on ONE NICE BOY!
