First photos of Chief taken 9/26/10. Gayle sold Chief's dam Lamars Dream On-S on a co ownership and Chief is one of the puppies out of Dreamy. We are thrilled to have gotten the opportunity to buy Chief since we don't have any of Frankie/Sugar's kids. So a grandkid will do for now! Plus he will fit nicely into our breeding program to go back on Frankie or Sugar girls. Watch for him this fall.

Frankie At 3 1/2 Years Old
Ch. Hurd's Blazin The Way At Lamar at 3 1/2 years of age. He knows he is 'a tad bit overweight' but he still likes to strut his stuff. If I had the heart for it I'd put him on a major diet and try for his Grand Ch. But he is enjoying life too much to have to try to get back to his trim and svelte show weight! lol Frankie has only had 4 litters and 3 of the puppies were sold out of the US. With only two of his pups shown seriously in the US, both finished their Championships and Gage was ranked in the top Twenty Smooths last year...and this year Penny is the #2 Smooth in Canada right now. Sandy is a Russian Champion. Not too shabby for someone with only a handful of babies to his name.

Penny and Razzle Win Last Weekend
Penny won Best of Breeds this past weekend in Canada making her #2 Smooth Coat Chihuahua in Canada. Penny is sired by my Ch male Frankie.
Razzle was showing in the States and won a Select Bitch award...I believe it was a major. So that should put her at 10 points towards her Grand Ch. Razzle's parents are both Lamar's Chihuahuas. Thank you Cathleen.

Lucy's Latest Win Photo
Here is Lucy taking her 12th point going Best Opposite under Breeder/Judge Richard Miller in Topeka, KS. With my health and surgery issues of late poor Lucy may never get finished! I do have my eye on some shows in October that I am hoping to be able to get to so we can get this long drawn out Championship done. She'd have finished last Spring if I had not had so many things happening all at once. But she doesn't care...she's happy to go whenever! She certainly thinks she is the cat's meow and struts around here like a little Diva.
I am healing well from my hysterectomy. Thankfully I am a fast healer and don't require pain meds. but now it sounds like I may face another surgery...so that isn't setting too well with me.

Home From Surgery
Thank you so much for all the well wishes for my surgery. I was home last night (thursday) and of course, will be a few days before feeling my old self again. Thanks again to everyone for the calls, flowers and cards. Gayle
