Great News from my friend Nikolay in Russia. He just informed me a few days ago that American Ch. Lamars Antonio is now a Russian Champion. He has been very well received by all the judges he has been shown to. Thank you Nikolay. We will be watching for more news on Antonio's babies some day.
Nikolay also has a Frankie daughter that we are hoping will mature in to a Champion someday also.

UPDATES
Husband's burns are healing well on his legs. He did have a very bad allergic reaction to something so is one big itching hive. He is in more misery from the itching than the burns at this point.
News from Puerto Rico where one of my IG male's(Ch. Maverick) daughters took a Group 3 Friday. These were her frist shows there. Congratulations Francisco.
I keep trying to get to some shows and even just to training class and it seems like it just isn't happening...too many things happening here of late. But I do hope to make it to the shows this coming weekend in Seward with my totally untrained dogs.

Husband Was Burned While Hauling Chemical
Yesterday (15th of April) my husband (who is a truckdriver) was hauling anhydrous ammonia as he does every Spring for the farmers to put on their fields. This is a very very dangerous chemical and kills quite a few people everyear. If you inhale it by accident you are pretty much done.
A valve stuck and then when he broke it loose it shot the chemical on him from the waste down. So about 6 percent of the lower half of his body is burned. Today he was at the burn unit to get it debrided and they actually put pigskin over it to keep it sterile and help it heal.
They were mildly surprised that the burn wasn't alot worse and they hope he can be pretty well back to normal in two weeks. But that all depends if no infection sets it, etc. One never knows what life will throw at them day by day!

Late Congrats
I am always a day late and more than a dollar short lately it seems. I wanted to congratulate Shawn Jones on finishing her beautiful smooth bitch Tia with a whopping 5 pt major at the Wichita, KS circuit. Tia is out of one of the Lamar bitches. So we are always happy to see the boys and girs we produce are continuing to produce nice chihuahuas capable of competing anywhere.

Congratulations to Another New Champion

Chuckie, a puppy which stems from Lamars breeding altho we aren't the breeders(Debbie Chambers is the breeder), finished his Championship today at the Illinois Chihuahua Specialty with a 5 pt major (he only needed a single to finish...he already had a 5 and 2-pt majors). He then went on to win Best Smooth Coat Puppy and Best Chihuahua Puppy In Specialty. What a great way to finish.
Congratulations to his breeder, Debbie Chambers of Belle's Chihuahuas, and proud owner and good friend, Karen Terry of Ka-Lynn's chihuahuas.
We brought his sire, Ch. Lamars Clark Kent here last year to finish and are so proud of this boy . And by the way, his litter brother, a long coat is only a major away from his Championship also! This great breeding was repeated and there were two boys once again. They are just days old and we are hoping this breeding lives up to the last one.
But I saved the best news for last, well maybe not best (lol) but exciting news...how's that. We just bred everybody's favorite bitch here at Lamars...Sugar (Ch. Fandango Lamars Sweet Dreams) to Chuckie (Ch. Belle's N Ka-Lynn's I'm Your Superman) for a Mid May litter. Needless to say, these guys we are hoping will be show stoppers! This is Sugar's last litter.
