We ourselves have taken a couple weeks off from showing. But we are happy to report news from ones we have sold. Unfortunately, we have to wait to hear news because some owners do not share with us their good news.
In checking show results I saw that a couple IG's I sold have done well this past couple weekends. The gorgeous red bitch, Didi won BEST OF BREED over three Specials for a 4 point major and then next day a 3 point major. Then Doc, a beautiful seal boy won a point and a Reserve. These wins were in Greeley.
Then in Farmington, UT Didi won Best of Opposite sex for a single and Doc went BW for a single. Friday Doc won the Breed for a single and Didi was reserve. Saturday no points...Will wait to see what they do today.
Also to report..a chihuahua that we did not breed but has two Lamars parents won Winners Bitch for a 3 pt major in UT...all owned by Erika Phillips. Erika does a very nice job presenting these dogs and we thank her for that.

Two Pretty Puppies Available
If you are looking for a pretty show prospect take a look at these littermates...Nikolay, the blue fawn boy is very small but a firecracker. His sister Marina, is also oozing personality. Look at the tailsets and toplines...they don't put a foot down wrong either. Sire is Ch. Rebound Black Russian. We think these are crackerjack puppies.
Show news, Peepers got reserves all weekend too. So hoping the next weekend is better.

Beautiful Cool Fall Weather Here
It has been a wonderfully cool summer here in the Midwest, thankfully, and now this fall is just as beautiful. I could handle this kind of weather every year...lol
Today I traveled with friend Max Hurd to Des Moines Dog Show. Best I could garner was another dreaded Reserve with Scotch. She is known as the Reserve Queen around here with at least 10 Reserves. I'm going to have to get the record out and count one day. But then again, I better not, as I just get upset when I see them and know only only other dog beat her those days. She is just 2 points shy of her Championship and it was 2 pts today...just a smidgen out of our reach again.
It appears Gobble is probably bred so will be looking for Mid October puppies. I'll have to plan my fall show schedule around them now.
Well, I hope everyone enjoys the Labor Day Holiday.
