We haven't been showing alot as I stated in the last blog. But, we did go to Omaha this past weekend. I only showed Clark on Saturday and then both Clark and Scotch on Sunday. Best we did was a Reserve on Scotch. These two are just a breath away from their Championships...with Clark needing a single point and Scotch needing just two points. So we were rather disappointed we didn't get at least one of them done this weekend...Clark went home with his owners after the shows to see if she can find a single in her area to finish him. We figured if nothing else they can meet up with me in September to get that last point.
JP was showing up in Alaska but he also didn't fare as well as we had hoped. Guess our stars aren't lined up right...lol
On a good note tho, the Gobble/Blaze puppies are doing great...Haven (now Sassy) went to her new home last week with Karen H. of Fandango. They are so happy with her...who couldn't love Sassy...she comes by her name naturally because she talks to you all the time...
The summer has been pretty kind to us here where we live with only a week the end of June that was unbearably hot. So we hope it continues being on the cooler side. Our yard looks better than it ever has with all the rain we have gotten. But of course, keeps my husband busy on weekends keeping up with it all.
