We just received word that a beautiful little tri long coat girl we sold to the Sapas family in Colorado finished her Championship at the Denver shows under Judge Elaine Mathis. Her name is Ch. Lamars Surely You Jest-L by Ch. Royal's Sneak Preview and out of Ch. Fandango Lamars Butternut. Shirley was bred by my daughter Lari Brandon.
Christine tells me that Shirley is the only other dog that her Aussie will let help herd the ducks out of the yard. She says Shirley looks like a miniature Aussie out there herding. We are looking forward to that photo also!
It has been a long road for her finding that last major (over a year). The Sapas have been so persistent in trying to find that major and spent countless hundreds of dollars I am sure, to continue entering her until the majors were found. Even at the large show in Denver there was no major in bitches so she had to go Best of Winners to get the dog major. Friday she went Reserve, Saturday she went Winners Bitch but didn't get Best of Winners...and finally on Sunday she did it.
Owners like the Sapas are so much appreciated for their dedication and persistence to getting our dogs finished. We are grateful to most all our doggie friends and homes. Of course, along the way one will find the occasional 'bad apple' ,so to speak. But most often we are thrilled with the people who have found us and purchased one of our dogs.
As soon as we receive a photo we will post it here and on the web site. Again, huge congratulations to Shirley and her family.
