FLASH...Skittles takes a 3rd major

WOW....Skittles went in the ring and WOWED Judge Gay Dunlap for a 5 point major on July 19, 2008 in Omaha, NE defeating 12 other very nice chihuahua bitches. This little girl means business anytime she sets foot in the ring. We only need 2 points on this girl which should come easily very soon. She now has 13 points at the tender age of 9 months and very limited showing. Watch for her photo as soon as we receive it. She is shown exclusively by owner Gayle Essex.

I am very disappointed in our photo. She closed her eyes apparently just as the shutter snapped. Such a nice win to be messed up with a poor photo. But we are happy for the win for sure and now looking in Topeka KS August 17 for her last two points.

Skittles winning second 4 point major

Once again beautiful little Skittles won the spotlight and won her second 4 point major. This time under Judge Frank Summerside in Vermillion SD on June 28, 2008. Skittles is always a force to be reckoned with when she gets in the ring. She weighs 4 1/2 pounds but her small stature doesn't prevent her from strutting her stuff in the ring. Skittles winning first major

Beautiful little Skittles is shown here winning her first 4 point major at Seward KC on April 27, 2008. We offer our thanks to Judge Toddie Clark for starting Skittles show career with a BANG in her first show at 7 months old. Mrs. Clark couldn't say enough about how she liked this little show girl and that she'd love to take her home. What a compliment from such a respected Judge. That weekend was an outstanding weekend for Gayle winning Best of Variety in both Smooth (with Eve who finished that weekend) and Long (with Charm) Chihuahuas both days. WOW...we were thrilled. And not to be left out...our Italian Greyhound representative at that show (JB) also won his first two points at 6 months old in his first shows and went Best of Breed both days also.

CHARM IS CHAMPION #3 THIS SUMMER

We are proud to announce Charm is now CHAMPION FANDANGO LAMARS LUCKY CHARM. Charm finished her Championship July 19, 2008 at Nebraska KC at Omaha, NE. under Judge Gay Dunlap. This makes Champion number 3 for us in less than 3 months. We thank her breeder Karen Hamling for letting us add Charm to our home. She will soon be bred to Champion Hurd's Blazin The Way at Lamar. At this same show, Skittles (Dorhers N Lamars Prom Queen-S) took another major. This time a 5 point major defeating 13 smooth coat bitches..this is her 3rd major. Skittles now only lacks 2 points for her Championship and she is only 10 months old with very limited showing.

Not to be left out, our Italian Greyhound male puppy who is just 9 months old won both days attaining two more points. He now has 5 points in 6 shows..he has a fantastic show career ahead of him. He has been sold to Omar Gonzalez and will be seen soon in the Michigan and Ohio area with handler Kathleen Knowles. We wish them the best
